Psychological Evaluation and Assessment is used to help you better understand the factors influencing your emotions and behavior, document the challenges an individual is facing at a certain point, determine diagnoses, and to offer guidance for treatment planning and recovery recommendations. Evaluation services can also be helpful in securing accommodations to facilitate supportive work and school environments, build individualized education plans (IEPs), and access social support programs. The Psychological Clinic applies a comprehensive approach to assessment, integrating multiple pillars of information using validated assessments measures and techniques to provide reliable and trustworthy results.

Evidence-Based Therapy is an approach to therapy that uses the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to help ease pain points and reduce unease. This evidence-based approach which means that the strategies we use have been researched and their effectiveness is supported by scientific evidence. Often, we are trying our hardest to use strategies that seemed to work at one time to help alleviate suffering but find that they no longer work as well. Sometimes we rely on old thinking patterns or behavior strategies that we believe should work that just don’t anymore. Evidence-based therapy relies on state-of-the-art science and research-based understanding of these struggles to help identify make changes for good so you finally get the results you are hoping for.
